David at BUCS 25/02/2024

At the weekend, David took part in the BUCS championships, representing Northumbria University. On the first day, he was part of the team kata that took Bronze against some very strong teams, and on the second, fought brilliantly in his kumite weight category, getting through 3 rounds without conceding a single point. Unfortunately, a re-occurrence of a knee injury meant he had to withdraw before he could fight for a medal. Nevertheless, a great series of performances, in both kumite and kata, and we are very proud.
