Sunderland Competition 07/06/2025

We've had a busy few weeks competing. On the weekend of 17th May, we were at the KUGB Nationals in Nottingham, followed by the Leeds Youth Competition on the Sunday. No medals at the Nationals, but great performances from Senseis Daniel, David and Jim. At the Leeds Youth, David brought home a bronze medal. Last weekend, we were at the Scottish Open in Dundee on the Saturday. Good results, with Sensei Jim winning gold in individual kata, gold in weapons kata, and silver in individual kumite. Daniel won Sanbon Kumite +75kg, and David took silver in Ippon kumite. On the Sunday, we had a small team at the Sunderland championships. We were very proud of everyone's efforts, whether winning medals or not. William took bronze in his kumite, and David took bronze in his kata.
